Lakefront Law & Title offers free consultations so you can rest easy knowing you and your estate are in good hands.

  • Revocable Trusts

A revocable trust, also known as a living trust, grants you the power to avoid probate proceedings, set up marital tax planning, provide for beneficiaries, and appoint a trustee to manage the finances, all while retaining control of your assets.

  • Irrevocable Trusts

This type of trust can also help minimize estate taxes and avoid probate proceedings, but it has the additional ability to prevent your assets from being taken by the state to pay for nursing home care. Our experienced attorneys can inform you of which type of trust would be the best choice for you in your unique situation.

  • Will

Our experienced attorneys will ensure your assets are distributed accurately and efficiently, that guardians are appointed for minor children, and that your estate’s management is executed properly.

  • Advance Directives

We work to make sure your wishes are carried out should you ever be in a medical state in which you are being kept alive by artificial means and have no reasonable means of recovering.

  • Durable Financial and Medical Powers Of Attorney

Our experts at Lakefront Law & Title will prepare the proper documentation you need to grant someone the legal ability to make financial and medical decisions on your behalf, now or at some point in the future.

Real Estate Law

Many believe that buyers and sellers can easily navigate the closing process by themselves. This is simply not true. Experienced representation is crucial to ensure that your rights are protected.

  • Purchase and Sale Contract

We will review your purchase contract to provide you with advice as to the terms you have agreed upon.

  • Title Issues

Our office obtains necessary paperwork so that your title is clear. We also help resolve issues that may prevent you from closing.

  • Walkthrough Issues at Closing

If there are last minute issues at the final walk-thru, we will promptly resolve them and negotiate a favorable arrangement with the parties so the sale can continue as scheduled.

  • Power of Attorney for Closings

We can sign closing documents for sellers, saving you precious
    time.

  • Mortgage Payoffs and Disbursement of Funds

We will coordinate the disbursement of funds and recording of the deed. If you have a back-to-back closing for a purchase, we can represent you in both transactions to ensure a smooth transfer of funds from one property to the other.
