Kentucky Derby 2023

DaMore Law joined forces with ERA Team Blue for their Annual Kentucky Derby Event. This year the team chose the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism to donate the money raised.

The fundraiser aims to raise awareness and funds for the foundation’s invaluable work in assisting families affected by autism spectrum disorders. DaMore Law and ERA Team Blue were more than happy to bring people together for an enjoyable and meaningful event, all in the name of supporting individuals with autism and their families.

The event wouldn’t be complete without the inclusion of local businesses, Shant Banosian at Guaranteed Rate Mortgage, Joe Lombardo at Guild Mortgage Company, Austin Styffe at Leader Bank, Betsy Robinson at Hunt Mortgage, Laura Piro at LBP Insurance Agency, LLC, Tony Cardinelli at Cross Country Mortgage, Red Door Mobile Bar, WOW Factory Auto Detailing, and Scott Advisory Group who all donated raffles.

During the event, owner of DaMore Law, Peter DaMore said “We are thrilled to collaborate with ERA Team Blue for this significant event. The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism is doing incredible work, and we are honored to be part of it.”

Skate For The 22 Foundation Cinco De Mayo Fundraiser

Each day, 20-22 U.S. Military veterans commit suicide. The Skate for the 22 Foundation provides veterans an outlet while bringing public awareness to the issue through hockey.

The Skate for the 22 was formed to reduce the tragically high number of veteran suicides by providing no cost skills development sessions and get veterans back into a supportive, team environment.

Sonia Rollins & Associates and DaMore Law invite everyone for a night of Cinco De Mayo fun at the Archer Hotel in Burlington to raise money in support of the Skate for the 22 Foundation.

“We first heard about Skate for the 22 Foundation a few years back when they joined the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce,” said Rollins. “The BACC learned about the great work they do for the men and women who served our country,” Rollins continued. “The statistic of 22 veterans taking their life every day is one that none of us should take lightly. The Foundation is working hard to bring veterans back into a team environment and show them that we see them and they matter.”

The devastating war in Ukraine has driven hundreds of thousands from their homes and into survival mode having lost everything. Burlington’s DaMore Law recently took the initiative to help the Ukrainians in their dire situation.

Through a social media post DaMore Law found out that the Burlington High School National Honor Society was running a general supply drive for Ukrainian and Syrian refugees and reached out. Nicole Dupuis is the Director of Business Management at DaMore Law.

“They were up to the idea of DaMore being a drop off location. We’re right off of Cambridge Street, so we’re a great drop off location. We do it during Thanksgiving, we do it for the seniors at Christmas. We work with HELPIS and I’m involved with Womenade,” said Dupuis.
