Employment Based Petitions

For Foreign Nationals Seeking to Work and Reside in the US

Employment-Based Petitions are a pathway for foreign nationals seeking to work and reside in the United States. These petitions are typically sponsored by U.S. employers who wish to hire skilled workers from abroad. The process involves various categories, each with its own set of eligibility criteria and requirements. Once approved, these petitions can lead to obtaining a green card and ultimately permanent residency in the U.S.

More About EB-2 NIW

The EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) is a subcategory of the EB-2 employment-based immigrant visa in the United States. It is designed for individuals who have an advanced degree or exceptional ability in their field and whose work is deemed to be in the national interest of the United States. Unlike other EB-2 applicants, those applying for a National Interest Waiver do not need a job offer or labor certification, as they can self-petition. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate that their work has substantial merit and national importance, that they are well-positioned to advance their proposed endeavor, and that waiving the job offer and labor certification requirements would benefit the United States.
